Zan'set leads you to a swirling portal, which takes some times, but once there you step in and attempt to yelp as you are encircled by the odd not-quite-a-liquid-or-solid material that makes up the portal before it pulls you in. You aren't sure if you had lost track of time while talking to the small family or if the portal was one of time as well as place but when you come out the first thing you notice is the gentle light of a sunrise glinting against...Water. You yelp and realize that you are rather far out in the ocean. Ocean? How did you know that, well...You stick out your tounge and shake your head as the salty taste reaffirms this thought.
You spin slightly, trying to tread the water(and make progress in some direction) as best as you can, but your limbs are already growing tired from lack of rest and you begin to sink below the surface despite your best efforts. A small purple sea horse appears in front of you. It blinks at you for a moment before swimming away very quickly. Despite the brief moment of beauty your heart sinks, but not for long. Something bumps you firmly from behind. Startled you try to spin, loosing much of the air you have, but then you feel what feels like the dorsal fin of a dolphin in your hand and you hold fast. You are pulled to the surface, where you gasp for air for a moment, before you continue forward. Slowly you begin to see some sort of shore in the distance and as relief seeps into you you are able to fully take in just what you are holding on to.

Eyes wide you admire the beautiful...Well, you aren't sure what exactly she is, but you glance behind and do notice that her hind legs are like a lions. Your eyebrows pull down slightly. "A C'bana...?" you manage, though don't entirely realize you've spoken aloud. A light laugh can be heard, perhaps with some hint of nervousness. "Yes, Traveler. I'll never understand how the portals work though...Really, Lady Stormelle should know better than to let someone be desposited by me....Though...They might not see me otherwise." the last part seems to be mostly to herself so you choose to ignore it as she slows yours progress but continues on till her front fins and she can't really push you forward any more. You notice a blur of black and white coming toward you and the deep blueish-purple females' ears seem to go back rather quickly and she sticks low to the ground.
Despite this you stand in full, only to be tackled to the ground by a very large C'bana.

"Pandamonium...Umm...You do realize that they've just nearly drown..." says the Mer C'bana beside you as the ball of fur and muscle clambers off you.
"Oh...Erm...You alright?" say the C'bana, looking you directly in the eyes, his own very large as he does so. You nod, though you really wise C'bana would stop tackling you, your likely to have bruises for sure this time. "Good!" the male, Pandamonium says, a large grin upon his face. "Thanks for bringing 'em here Cest!" he says, turning his large grin on the Mer'bana.
"Your welcome..." the female says, looking away from the large, and very enthusiastic male. You begin to wonder if his name is meant to be so literal. "I'm glad I could help you, Traveler." the female says. "I am Cest'Caine, by the way. And the sea pony you saw earlier is mine as well...Name of Turocean and my other companion." she nods to a small serpent-like creature which sits in the shallows next to her, watching you and Pandamonium very carefully. "Is a Furfta by the name of Turqosie Ocean. I'll leave you with Pandamonium." she says before pushes off and wiggling backward before she disappears.
"Well! I'm Pandamonium, as Cest said...But...Come on." he says, turning and running toward the edge of the tree in the distance. You sigh, but follow, wondering if Pandamonium had already forgotten what you had just gone through or if he was just like this no matter what.
As he finally slows, just inside the trees, you can see a firey colored female and your jaw drops as you note the large instrument she is playing.

"Fane'lalaii!" Pandamonium calls, pulling the female out of her concentration. A light smile breaks across her face as her eyes fall onto the male before shifting to you.
"Oh my...Welcome, Traveler. You have been through quite a lot, haven't you." she says, moving toward you with a grace that befits the harp playing beauty. You explain just what you had been through an a bemused smile touches her lips as she glances toward Pandamonium. "My apologies. The portals change constantly, one can never quite determine where you'll end up. Come." she says, nodding toward her harp. "Take a brief rest and let the sun dry you." and she begins to play again. The gentle music and the heat of the sun, as well as Pandamonium and Fane'lalaii's gentle talking calms you enough that before long you are asleep.
When you wake Pandamonium is gone, but Fane'lalaii is still there, playing. She smiles lightly as she notices you are awake, finishing her song. "Ready to move on?" she asks. The light is now about midday, you'd not been asleep for long. But it was long enough. You nod and she turns, leading you along till you come to a path. "Stick to this." she says. "And be careful, while most of the things here are safe...It never hurts to be cautious." and with that she turns, her small bobtail the last thing you see as she moves away rather quickly.
